The Elder Team is pleased to announce that we are in the process of searching for the next senior Pastor of Pursuit Church. Also, during this pastor search, the elders are reviewing scriptures and praying to better define the roles and responsibilities of the next senior pastor as it relates to the New Testament church. We ask you join with us in prayer as we progress.

The Timeline:

There is no definitive timeline for the appointment of a senior pastor, however it is a high priority for the Elder Team. We are praying and heeding the advice of the Apostle Paul who wrote in 1 Timothy 5:22, “Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader.”

We are trusting that the Lord will reveal the man of his choosing in His timing.  It is our role to diligently seek the Lord in the search.  As Jesus said in Matthew 7: 7-8 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

We are so blessed and thankful for how God is using John Doggette, Scott Broome, and Taylor Kale during this interim time.  It is truly the favor of the Lord that Pursuit Church has these 3 men, called by God into ministry, to share the Sunday speaking role.  Many in our Pursuit family have shared with the Elders and the Staff how God is blessing them through these men.
